Low Cost Spay-Neuter for Dogs
For residents of Lawrence, Methuen, Lowell, and Haverhill, the MSPCA at Nevins Farm is able to offer affordable spay-neuter surgeries for dogs of families in these cities who are in need of financial assistance. Thanks to a grant through the Massachusetts Animal Coalition (MAC), the cost of the spay-neuter surgery package is $75 (except for services for Pit Bulls, which is free for residents in Lawrence, Haverhill, Lowell, and Methuen, or $75 for Pit Bulls in all other communities, per our Pit Pals program below). The surgery package includes the spay-neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, and microchip (a form of permanent identification).
Low Cost Spay-Neuter for Pit Bulls
The MSPCA at Nevins Farm offers affordable spay-neuter surgeries to the Pit Bulls of local families in need of financial assistance. The total cost of each package is $75 and includes the spay-neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination and microchip (a form of permanent identification). ***NEW***Thanks to generous donors, we are now able to offer free spay-neuter services for Pit Bulls owned by residents of Methuen, Lawrence, Haverhill, and Lowell. Proof of residency will be required at the time of service, or you will be subject to the regular Pit Pal rate of $75.
$75 Spay-Neuter for Dogs in Chelsea
For residents of Chelsea, the MSPCA at Nevins Farm is able to offer $75 spay-neuter surgeries for dogs of families in Chelsea who are in need of financial assistance. Thanks to a partnership with HubCats Chelsea the cost of the spay-neuter surgery package is subsidized to offer this low cost package. The surgery package includes the spay-neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, distemper vaccination, and microchip (a form of permanent identification).

All pets must be between the ages of 4 months old to 7 years old to attend the spay/neuter clinic.
Pet drop off for the low cost clinic is between 7:45am-8:30am and pick up between 3:30pm and 4:30pm. Appointments tend to be booked months out due to the popularity of the clinic.
Cost: Spay or neuter of a cat is $95 and includes a Rabies vaccine, Distemper vaccine, a Microchip and a dose of Revolution.
Dog neuters are $200.
